Thanks to generous support from long-time sponsors The Sarkeys Foundation, ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66, some 80 middle school math and science teachers from more than 70 schools across Oklahoma spent the week of June 5-9 together at OSSM to improve their content knowledge and learn best teaching practices from local and national experts and from each other!  Teachers trained on new ways to teach higher level math and science concepts in effective ways and on how to do a variety of fun and inexpensive hands-on labs to reinforce these concepts with some 3,500-4,000 students in their combined classrooms.  Many thanks to our sponsors, our trainers and to all the committed, dedicated Oklahoma teachers who participated!
