OSSM’s mentorship program matches selected OSSM seniors with outstanding local scientists, engineers, doctors, professors and other professionals in the student’s area of interest.  These volunteer mentors involve the students in their current research working to help solve real problems.  This valuable mentorship experience allows the students to graduate high school with real world research experience, practical lab skills to jump start their higher education and a real connection to this first professional workplace.
