OSSM helped me the find the people that care about me and push me to be better every day.

OSSM has challenged me to not only learn more about math and science, but also about myself.  I feel so lucky to live with so many amazing people with inspiring goals and ambitions.  I’ve grown so much here and am so excited to see the impact this school will have on me even after I graduate.

At OSSM, I was challenged not just by the academic rigor, but by the quality of people that I met. They helped me to challenge myself by being a better person.

OSSM has changed my life because it challenged me academically as student. Growing up, I wasn’t the smartest nor the best at academics, but I enjoy a good challenge because it conditions my commitment and perseverance. In addition, OSSM gave me close relationship with other like-minded individuals, living and learning with each other.

At OSSM, I learned leadership and responsibility.  Gaining knowledge went from a task that ought to be done to a joy that shapes who I am and who I may become.

I learned the value of true friendship and to be more accepting of my own imperfection (such as grades) because in the end we all learn from our faults and flaws and can always improve.  OSSM certainly has given me a first, real experience of hard work — There is no time or space for procrastination!  

OSSM has opened more doors for me than I ever imagined possible. OSSM has had a life-changing impact on the trajectory of my future.

OSSM has given me the community I didn’t even know I needed. The faculty and staff go above and beyond to make sure we succeed in and out of the classroom. I’ve made unparalleled bonds with the people here. OSSM has changed my life in so many ways, and I wouldn’t trade my experience for anything.

OSSM offers me an academic challenge I would have never gotten at my home high-school. This certainly allows me to push myself to my best potential so that in the future I will continue to have a good work ethic, as well as the ability to overcome any obstacles in my way!
